CV
Margo Sarkisova was born in 1997 in Pokrovsk (Donetsk Region, Ukraine). Currently she Lives and works in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
Margo is a young Assyrian artist of Ukrainian descent.
She graduated from the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts from
studio of IldanYakhin. She was finalist of the competition of modern fine arts dedicated to
Nathan Altman 2017, 2018, participated in festival of printmaking art PRINTFEST_100 in
Kyiv; Margo was selected for a group international exhibition at International Print Center New
York (USA) in January 2020. She was one of the many participants, who supported project
"Falling Shadow of Dreams" on the Gardens of Giardini "Ukrainian pavilion at the 58th
Venice Biennale;
Margo participated in projects and exhibitions in Ukraine, Germany, USA, Bulgaria, Italy.
Her artworks are in private collections in Denmark, Ukraine, USA, Australia, Norway, France, Canada, Italy, United
Kingdom, India, Germany, Scotland, Czech Republic, Austria.
Through visual art Margo explores theme of national identity and how the cultural context
influences on thoughts and life of a person.
